- RVS School of Architecture was established in the year 2009 by RVS Educational Trust under the chairmanship of Dr. K. V. Kuppusamy.
- The School is located within Coimbatore city in an extensive two hundred acre campus on the CoimbatoreTrichy National Highway
- The faculty comprising of highly qualified Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors in the fields of Architecture, Planning, and Fine Arts, is ably headed by the Director, Prof. D. Vetrivel Kannan possessing twenty-five years of professional experience.

B.ARCH
- Theory courses such as Mathematics, Mechanics of Structures, Building Materials, History of Architecture, etc.
- Theory cum Studio Courses such as Building Services, Computer Aided Visualization, etc.
- Drawing and Construction based Studio courses comprising of Art Studio, Architectural Drawing, Building Construction and Architectural Design Development.
- Design based Studio courses comprising of Basic Design and Architectural Design
- Elective courses for specialization in related fields.
- A Practical Training in the IX & X Semester for exposure in the Architectural Profession.
- Architectural Thesis in the X Semester
- One compulsory Educational Tour and study / field / site visits
Entrance Exam NATA
It is implied that a separate aptitude test in Architecture should be conducted and such test should not be combined with the tests for admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine and other disciplines.
Being the competent authority for fixing the norms and standards for architectural institutions, COA has the necessary expertise to hold a Common Aptitude Test in Architecture, at national level to rovide a single window system for appearing in aptitude test and to facilitate institutions, students and public at large for admission to First year of 5 year B.Arch.
